This course is set up to allow you to advance your knowledge of alcohol service, through easy-to-master lessons. As you move through the course, you will learn specific and detailed information about how to serve alcohol responsibly and learn the regulations for bartenders, sellers, and servers in Vermont.

How long does the course take?
This course will take about 4 hours to complete. However, any additional time needed will depend on your personal study habits. You can take as much time as you need to study the course material and there are no penalties for retaking the exams.

This is a private training program not affiliated with the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery. This training is not valid for licensing purposes, violations, or for training other employees using the Department’s in-house training program. If you have questions, contact the Vermont Department of Liquor and Lottery at (802) 828-2339.

To clarify:
  1. For licensing purposes, for owners and managers, you will need to take the training from the state of VT.
  2. If you are an employee and you had a violation, you will need to take the training from the state of VT.
  3. If your establishment is using the state of VT in house training program, you cannot mix in this Rserving course.

This Rserving course is valid for employees (other than employees listed in 1-3 above).
